The Arivaca Home Tour returns on January 28th!

Tickets are $10, and are available at the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce, Lavonne' Hair Design, Arivaca Artists' Co-op, Arivaca Library, and just about everywhere else in Arivaca!

Take a drive on the beautiful Arivaca Road for the Home Tour, and see a tracking basset hound, horses and buggies and women in hats, the life journey of an artist, a darling adobe home, a huge new home with a fabulous master bedroom, the oldest standing schoolhouse in Arizona, one of the country's best bars according to Esquire magazine, and so much more! Special breakfast at Sweet Peas Cafe, special lunch at the Community Center, things happening all over town! Get your ticket and come on out!

The Altar Valley Conservation Alliance is a collaborative conservation organization founded in 1995, and incorporated as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, devoted to the vision of conserving the Altar Valley for future generations. The Alliance mission is to have ranchers and other agriculturalists work collaboratively as the AVCA with our partners to leave the next generation with an economically and biologically productive watershed, a thriving agricultural community, and rural life enriched by the culture and history of the Altar Valley.

The Arivaca Fire District is looking for volunteers! Please call the Fire Station at 398-2003 and find out how you can help! The Fire District Auxilliary is also looking for new members, please call Beth at 398-3032!  www.arivacafiredistrict.org

Arivaca Human Resources is looking for volunteers to help with meal preparation.  We prepare lunch every Monday through Friday for delivery and pick-up.  If you can spare a few hours one day a week, please call 398-2771 to get more information.  Give it a try and see how good it feels to help your neighbors!
